Knitting has been a passion of mine for over 35 years and it just keeps getting better, with the plethora of wonderful hand spun, hand painted and kettle-dyed yarns that are weaving their way into the market. We think the revival of spinning and dying is so intriguing that we decided to open this store!
We offer an extensive range of undyed, natural yarns and rovings for spinning and weaving, from Henry’s Attic Yarns as well as hand-dyed and painted yarns from Canadian artisans. We also have a limited quantity of New Brunswick produced Alpaca yarns, also batts in sizes Twin, Double, Queen & King, in natural colours (undyed). The batts can be used for felting or spinning as well as for quilts.
Should we not have your yarn in stock, we'll be happy to special order for you, with a $100 minimum order. Please allow for 2-6 weeks delivery. More than likely it won't take this long, but we can't promise! Some of our yarns come 'from away', as we say in the Maritimes.
Our product is usually priced by the ball or skein but cones are also offered; some we have in stock and others will have to be ordered. Please read the yarn description carefully. Please email us at: email@example.com if you would like further info on availability.
We are searching for unique product from our locale – exotic fleeces, hand spun yarns, hand-dyed fibres, handcrafted needles/hooks, spinning wheels, original patterns…whatever we can find that pertains to the industry. It is our goal to support & feature Canadian artists, designers, crafters and small ranchers. As we source new items, we will add to our inventory. Your inquiries and suggestions are welcome!
We welcome your comments about our site and the products we sell. In particular if there is a product you'd like to buy that we don't stock, please let us know and we'll do our best to source it for you.
